> This is a plain-English interpretation of the official text, prepared by the DPDP Wiki editorial team. It is not the law and not legal advice, and it may be incomplete or wrong. Always rely on the official text of the Act, the Rules and the notifications, and take advice from a qualified professional for your situation.

This document is a formal list of corrections, known as a corrigenda, issued by the Central Government. It fixes minor typographical and grammatical errors in the original Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, which were published on November 13, 2025.\n\nThe corrections do not change the core meaning or obligations of the rules. Instead, they fix small mistakes like changing "of this Gazette" to "in the Official Gazette" and correcting "Department" to the plural "Departments". It also fixes a missing word by changing "given in such" to "given in such order".\n\nOther minor fixes include separating the word "everybody" into "every body", correcting a typo in a legal reference from "(18 or 2013)" to "(18 of 2013)", and fixing punctuation and list numbering on page 38. These changes ensure the official text of the rules is accurate and reads correctly.
